Extensions I discovered, For safer web!

So I discovered this one extension that is fantastic it blocks third party cookies without losing access to a website. If you don't know what 3rd party cookies are they are tracking information that companies use to market ads to you, that know sometimes a little too much about you and most importantly your browser should be private, its only right! The program is called ABINE, and they give a sweet little video that goes more in depth about how the extension works, the program will install a extension most browsers without you have to got an extension store.

Then Another tool I use which is out of the browser is CCleaner and I run every time I close a browser, I choose the advanced option to clear catch and other data that still liable to hackers. Also another great tool that will not help your browser but is built in is there registry cleaner, so the registry acts better with the OS AKA Operating System. Keeping your computer clean keeps you safe if you computer does get spyware or adware, Also spying family members or your creepy next door neighbor who sneaks in your home to view your photos and data (may happen, I am just saying lol) Anyways its a great program, choose to not be updated when installing because it send constant updates that improve the UI, I haven't seen much in the way of new cleaning features with updates.

This is for windows works for pretty much any version, link below

Browser Protect is another great tool and this tool will block Hijackers from changing your browser or disabling it, So if it has ever happened to you, you know that the adware will change all your setting in your browser the home page, your default search client, disable extensions, or worse kick you out of your browser, and or make it painfully slow.

Adding AD BLOCK PLUS will stop any ads from displaying, it is very good and stopping ads, check it out.

Safari AdBlock

Also for additional FREEWARE (MEANS COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING) go to this website Gizmos they have cataloged the best FREEWARE.

http://www.techsupportalert.com/  BOOKMARK IT YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I highly suggest you don't use Internet explorer as a browser because it so vulnerable, the hackers know the "stupidest users" use this browser before they discover the web, so please download a different browser.

Also you should check into:

ANTI VIRUS PROTECTION

AVG 2012 great free antivirus, probably the best and light weight. You can configure scan schedule for better pc performance. I don't recommend you download any other anti virus, Norton is just like adware, and avira drops protection, when you least expect it. Windows security essentials will lock you out if you have a fake version of windows, and you never know especially if you bought used computer.

Enabling windows defender is fine and won't compromise your operating system.

Here is AVG 2012 download link

ADWARE/SPYWARE

Protection all you need is one and that is malwarebytes, run at least every month to find any thing wrong.

I SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST! DITCH COMCAST!!!!!!! They have been hired by the government and corporations to encroach on you, they have invested thousands of dollars to interpret your web pages, worst TWO FACE COMPANY! Make sure to do homework on your internet provider because scumbag companies like comcast exist. I Recommend Century Link DSL and with fiber optic speeds, knocks comcast flat on its back. Or tether your phones internet to your computer. I also have beef with dish networks for satellite tv, your best bet for entertainment is ROKU player and NETFLIX, streaming costs 8.00 whole dollars a month and you will never watch all the streaming content in your life! They have several shows available and great movie titles.

Here is link to roku http://www.roku.com/roku-products 49.99 FREE SHIPPING right now for the latest player, all you do is is connect to your network through your wireless router and you have the best entertainment!

Netflix CHECK EM OUT, they have deals where you can get the first month free!!!! https://signup.netflix.com/home?country=1&rdirfdc=true

HERE'S the best part if netflix gets sneaky with their prices and partnership to greedy entertainment company's someone can easily make a new app for ROKU!

Information about tethering can be found at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tethering
Call your phone company to ask how, you will need a USB cable that goes from phone to computer though. Or turn your phone into a wifi hotspot! You can ask your phone company on how to do this as well.

This will all protect you.

ENJOY!
